It is a voluntary, multi-year process that requires successful completion of a comprehensive written examination and rigorous peer review of complex clinical cases, evaluating diagnostic judgment, technical execution, and long-term outcomes. Less than 25% of practicing endodontists achieve board certification, reflecting a commitment to clinical excellence, continual self-assessment, and the highest standards of the specialty.
